A STORY OF BARK

Not every backdrop needs to be sky or sea. Sometimes the most beautiful stage for a bird is a patch of bark — rough, patterned, and full of quiet detail. In this series, I focus on birds framed by the textures of the trees they depend on. The grooves, cracks, and shadows of bark aren’t just background; they tell their own story of shelter, camouflage, and connection.
